Pure Mule - The Last Weekend has been nominated for five awards in the 7th Annual Irish Film & Television Awards television drama category.

The Pure Mule boxset is now available from Element Pictures Distribution online shop.

The Leuka Mini Masters website has video footage of this year's tournament; JJ can be seen in it a few times. 

EP Distribution have uploaded a great outtakes video to You Tube. Lots of JJ to be seen!! Dont forget the DVD boxset is available to buy from Friday.

Element Pictures list the Pure Mule DVD as being released on November 16th.

Element Pictures Distribution is delighted to announce the highly anticipated release of Pure Mule the complete series box set on DVD on the 16th of November.

Pure Mule was written as a 6 part series in 2005 by playwright Eugene O’Brien. It takes place in a market town in the midlands, neither urban or rural. The series revolves around the lives of Sheamy, Scobie, Kevin, Deirdre and Jennifer. Each episode focuses on one of the characters for one weekend and they all weave in and out of each others stories as the series evolves.

Pure Mule: The Last Weekend reunites many of the much loved characters of the original series set against the background of the recession. Scobie (Garrett Lombard) once a skilled labourer is now a security guard on an abandoned building site. With no real prospects, he’s booked a flight to Australia to join his brother and hopefully start a new life. The weekend Scobie is due to depart, Jennifer (Charlene McKenna) suddenly returns to the town after a four year absence, to bury her mother . Will she be a reason for Scobie to stay?
