The Shadow In The North star has three film releases this year, but he'd rather be spending time on the golf course.

How long have you been playing?

"Proper golf for ten years, although before, I was a demon at Queen's Park pitch and putt."

What is your favourite golfing moment?

"Playing at the celebtastic Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland. When I got the call, I started jumping up and down. My agent said I'd never reacted like this to any job."

Where do you play?

"Richmond Golf Club. I play with Ioan Gruffudd, Jack Davenport and Richard Coyle. We hack our way round the course. It's great fun."

JJ's next film, O Jerusalem, is out in Spring.
