Welcome to an unofficial website dedicated to promoting the considerable talents of film and television actor, JJ Feild.
Born in Colorado, USA, JJ moved to the UK as a baby and was brought up around the London area. He attended the Webber Douglas Academy Of Dramatic Art, and since graduating, has worked alongside the cream of British film-makers.
JJ is now perhaps best known for notable performances in a number of recent British television dramas including; The Secret Life Of Mrs Beeton, The Ruby In The Smoke, Shadow In The North and Jane Austen's Northanger Abbey.
He has three productions due for release in June 2009 in the UK; a live action manga film, Blood: The Last Vampire, Telstar, a biopic of 60's record producer Joe Meek, and Goal! 3 which is the final part of a football trilogy.
2008 saw JJ make his west end debut in Ring Round The Moon, at the Playhouse Theatre, London; which ran from 5th February until 29th March; and he returned to the stage in November 2008 for a short run at the Royal Court Theatre, in the Olivier award winning new play The Pride.
According to news reports, JJ recently completed filming Centurion

Pure Mule: new JJ project

Thanks to Ima in the forum for turning up more news about the update on JJ's agents page. Iftn.ie has news of more episodes currently being filmed.
A new two part special of RTÉ’s 2005 hit drama, ‘Pure Mule’, has started shooting in-and-around Birr Co. Offaly. Produced by Accomplice Television ‘Pure Mule: The Last Weekend’ will come to our screens this autumn.

Blue Forgotten Planet: audio drama for JJ?

Forum member Ima turned up news that JJ has been cast in a Doctor Who audio drama called Blue Forgotten Planet, which looks like being broadcast / available for download in September. The Big Finish website and thedoctorwhosite have details.
In other news, the cast of Blue Forgotten Planet (September) has been confirmed. JJ Feild (who starred in the BBC's The Ruby in the Smoke and The Shadow in the North) plays David McCallister, Alec Newman (Children of Dune) plays Ed Driscoll, and Andree Bernard (The Shakespeare Code) is Ellen Green. The story stars Colin Baker's Doctor and India Fisher as Charley Pollard.
JJ's agent's site Ken McCreddie.com lists a new TV production called Pure Mule, as the character Tom, directed by Declan Recks. Yet Centurion is still not listed.
